  • What days/times are classes?

    Emma conducts classes every Monday and Tuesday at 7 pm London time.

    If this schedule doesn't suit you, each instructor maintains their own unique schedule, offering classes on different days and times throughout the week. Classes are available every day to accommodate various preferences.

  • How are classes structured?

    Each class is 60 minutes long broken into two parts:

    • The Meditation | 30 Mins

    • The Movement | 30mins

  • Do I have to have my camera on?

    No! You can have your camera off if you want to. This is your practice. The MIM screen is pinned, so people are only watching/listening to the instructor. Additionally, your eyes will be shut for a lot of the practice.

  • Do you record and save the sessions?

    No! These sessions are only ever taught live.

    For this reason we don’t sell recorded sessions for you to do on demand. We only teach the method live.

  • Do I need to bring anything?

    Just some water! It can get a hot during the last 20 minutes.

  • What is somatic meditation?

    It’s a method created by MIM founder Emma Marshall that incorporates different ways of working with the entire body to become grounded and present.

  • What should I wear?

    Whatever you want! Anything you can dance in.

  • I suffer with health problems, can I do the method?

    Yes absolutely! People with serious health conditions have taken part in classes. This is your practice, so you do as much or as little as you like. Sit down whenever you want to. We are only dancing for about 20 minutes; the rest of the class is seated.

  • What if I can't dance?

    It doesn't matter! This method is about movement, getting out the mind into the body, finding your rhythm and tuning into the way your body feels, not following a routine.

  • Can I have my child in the room with me?

    Yes! This method is for all ages.
